CHAPTER 12

TRISTAN

“I’m not sure I can.” I feel the sweat collecting in my lower back.

“Is it a hard limit?” Selene raises her brow at me as she crosses her arms across her chest.

“No but I’m the one that ties people up. I’m the one in control. I’ve never allowed anyone to do that to me.”

She smiles. “All the more reason. Besides, you have to follow through with the dare or there will be consequences.”

Meaning she’s going to force this shit on me because Dominik walked in two minutes ago and he’s standing by the door, observing the back and forth between Selene and me.

Closing my eyes, I take a deep breath. “Okay. But remember, when I say I’m done, you release me.”

Selene nods eagerly, her excitement practically vibrating off her, which only heightens my nerves.

“Damon, will you help me?” she asks, her voice dripping with anticipation.

For a second, I falter, thrown off by the fake names we’re using. But Damon—Dominik—moves without hesitation, crossing the room to stand beside her. Their backs are to me as they rummage through the supply cabinet, exchanging low murmurs. A moment later, they turn, both holding lengths of bondage rope.

Selene approaches first, grabbing my hand and guiding me slowly to the bed. She keeps her eyes on mine as she presses on my chest, urging me to sit at the edge of the mattress.

My pulse thunders in my ears, but I remain still as she straddles me, her weight settling over my thighs. With painstaking slowness, she begins unbuttoning my shirt, her fingers grazing my skin in a way that sends sparks racing down my spine.

Her lips find my neck, warm and soft, trailing downward in a way that leaves me pliant beneath her. My resistance—if I had any—melts like ice in the sun.

Fuck. How did she disarm me so quickly?

The bed dips behind me, a subtle shift, and then I feel Dominik’s presence.

Close. Too close.

They work in silence, somehow knowing exactly what to do as they bind my arms behind my back. My breaths come out harsh and rapid with each pass of the rope around my chest.

“You good?” Dom asks and I simply nod.

Minutes later, Selene’s lips ghost above my ear. “It’s okay.”

“It doesn’t feel like it,” I breathe out, trying to calm my thoughts, but I’m struggling with the power dynamics at play here.

“Distract him,” Dom orders.

Selene looks at my shaking body for a second before she slides off and stands in front of me. Grabbing the bottom of her sweater, she pulls it over her head to reveal her perfectly round breasts. I swallow, watching as the pants slide down her legs next.

She’s not wearing any underwear.

Her peaked nipples brush against my skin as she grips my arms to guide me to stand. Selene wastes no time, working to unbutton my pants and dropping down to the floor to help me step out of them. Not that I need her help to do that but I do enjoy watching a woman on her knees.
